"...I use a disinfectant from Rochester Midland call Germ-O-Solv2, and when schools are shutting down with kids out sick for flu we do not even consider it. We clean desk tops, wipe door handles, clean drinking fountains, etc. But this is the best working disinfectant I have ever run across. I use this in my junior high locker rooms, and in six years we have only had three cases of athletes feet, according to the nursing staff. Before I made this change, they had "too many cases to count" from the boys alone."

Issues for schools today include:
Cleaning for health - reducing use of harsh cleaning chemicals and improved cleaning practices that reduce overall exposures to particulates
Indoor air quality - very important with recent increase of asthma in school age children
Budgets - cost effective products and programs are more important than ever
Not addressing these issues can be expensive in both human and financial terms. If children are not well enough to attend school, several things happen:
- the children don't learn
- medical costs increase
- parents have to take time off from work
- schools lose revenues based on attendance
