Rochester Midland Corporation (RMC) was founded in Rochester, New York, in 1888 and incorporated in 1897, the same year in which what is now known as the Sanor appliance was patented. The corporation manufactures and sells several-hundred specialty chemicals for water treatment, food safety, building maintenance, and the printing industry.
